COVID 19 ACTION SUPPORT
The Romney Marsh Day Centre will become the central hub for support across the whole of the marsh to give support to the most vulnerable in our communities while the threat of COVID19 is present.
More details will follow however in summary the following has been sent so far:
'We are hoping to have a dedicated phone number with 5 telephone lines coming into and going out from the Day Centre by tomorrow. We are looking for volunteers who have good customer service skills that are fit and well who could call people. If you know of anyone who would be willing please ask them to email Covid-19@rmdc.org.uk
We will be sending out a leaflet for volunteering and those needing support which will go to every household across the Romney Marsh. More details to follow shortly.
Freshly cooked hot meals are being delivered daily from the Day Centre at lunchtime at a cost of £7.50 for a two course meal. If you know of anyone that would benefit please contact the Day Centre.
A volunteer form will go up by tomorrow on the adapted facebook page of Romney Marsh Day Centre, which will become the Romney Marsh Community Support Hub.
