Temporary Road Closure – Hook Lane, Brookland, Romney Marsh – 23-27 April 2020

It will be necessary to close part of Hook Lane, Brookland, currently planned from Thursday 23 April 2020, with estimated completion by 27 April 2020.

Hook Lane will be closed in the general vicinity of Springfield Farm, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for through traffic is via A259 Rye Road, Rectory Lane Roundabout, Royal Oak Lane, Boarman’s Lane, Clubb’s Lane and Hook Wall.

The closure is to enable South East Water to carry out works to provide a new water supply.

Due to the nature of these works, it will not be possible to re-open the road outside the working hours.

There is a possibility that the timing and duration of these works may be affected by the current coronavirus situation.
