TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FOOTPATH 4, COOMBE KEYNES

AND FOOTPATHS No 2 AND 3, EAST LULWORTH

For the purpose of CAMP BESTIVAL 2017, Dorset County Council is making an Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation [Special Events] Act 1994 to prohibit the use of the following footpaths by all pedestrians, from 23.59hrs, Sunday 23 July until 23.59hrs, Tuesday 01 August 2017.

[a] Footpath 4, Coombe Keynes from grid ref. SY 8499 8388 [point A on the map] to grid ref. SY 8351 8318 [point B] a distance of 2,200 metres.

[b] Footpath 2, East Lulworth, from grid ref. SY 8590 8173 [point F on map] to grid ref. SY 8603 8204 [point E] a distance of approximately 360 metres.

[c] Footpath 3, East Lulworth, from grid ref. SY 8541 8185 [point D on map] to grid ref. SY 8577 8201 [point C] a distance of approximately 560 metres.

THE ALTERNATIVE ROUTES ARE AS FOLLOWS, WHICH WILL BE SIGN POSTED:

[a] From grid SY 8499 8388 north then westwards to Newton Hill then southwards to grid ref. SY 8351 8318.

[b] From grid ref. SY 8590 8173 proceed eastward and northward along the B3070 into East Lulworth village to grid ref. SY 8603 8204.

[c] From grid ref. SY 8541 8185 proceed eastward, northward and westward along the “Military Bypass” into East Lulworth Village to grid ref. SY 8577 8201.

[d] Access for Emergency vehicles will still be allowed.
