Road Closure- Hollington Lane 03-07 September

THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) (HOLLINGTON LANE, NEWBURY) NOTICE 2020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council, in exercise of the powers of the said County Council under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 considers that the closure specified below should come into force.

Road Affected:-

Hollington Lane, Newbury – Hollington Lane opposite Vinnicks Cottage heading south on Hollington Lane for 150 metres

Reason for Closure:-

Works will be undertaken to allow for access to overhead network to restore customer service

Alternative Route:-

Via Westridge, Andover Road, Bartletts Down, Hollington Lane or by this route reversed.

Period of closure:-

The closure will come into effect on 03 September 2020 for 5 days only between the hours of 09:30am to 15:30pm only (until 07 September 2020 or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner)
