Raising funds for the Club

Since the passing of Peter King, I have been trying to get the following connected to the Treasurer's account, and have finally succeeded. We can now start adding funds to the Club account once again.

Did you know that whenever you buy anything online – from your weekly shop to your annual holiday – you could be raising free donations for Eastney Bowls with easyfundraising?
 
There are over 4,000 shops and sites on board ready to make a donation – including eBay, Argos, John Lewis, ASOS, Booking.com and M&S – and it won’t cost you a penny extra to help us raise funds.
 
All you need to do is:
1. Go to https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/eastneybowls/?utm_campaign=raise-more and join for free. If you have already done so but have forgotten your password, click on the forgotten password link on the Login page and you can renew it.

2. Every time you shop online, go to easyfundraising first to find the site you want and start shopping.

3. After you’ve checked out, the retailer will make a donation to Eastney Bowls at no extra cost to you whatsoever!

There are no catches or hidden charges and Eastney Bowls will be really grateful for your donations.

Using this link will take you straight to the Easyfundraising website and to the Eastney Bowls cause. If you are in the right place, there will be a message asking you to 'Support this cause', if it doesn't there will be another message to search for a cause, just enter Eastney Bowls and click support.

Next you should set the donation reminder, so that if you visit a retailer who is part of the scheme, a reminder will show and invite you to go in using Easyfundraising, click on the message and it will go the the Easyfunding website and link back through the retailer you were looking at. If you normally use a particular retailer, the message will appear there as well, again click on the link as before.

To date, I have not been charged any different using Easyfundraising to that which appears on the retailers website, so there is no extra charged for using the site.
