Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire.
Nottinghamshire County Council has received requests to extend the existing 40mph speed limit along B6387 Muttonshire Hill / Ollerton Road, Gamston in order to improve road safety.
An assessment of the existing speed limit has been carried out and it has been confirmed that the section of B6387 Muttonshire Hill / Ollerton Road, Gamston from the existing 40 mph on B6387 Muttonshire Hill in a south westerly direction to just past the entrance to Retford (Gamston) Airport is suitable for a 40mph speed limit.
It is therefore proposed to introduce a 40mph speed limit on the above-mentioned roads, as per the attached drawing H/CLW/5066/01.
Any objections to the proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made, should be sent in writing before (tbc) using the e-mail or postal address at the bottom of the letter. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures
at the appropriate time.
Any details you provide may be shared with Nottinghamshire County Council as appropriate.

Yours Sincerely,
Improvements Design Team
