Essendine Parish Council
Essendine Village Trust
Essendine Village Trust Fund was formed in 1974 from the proceeds of the sale of the Village Hall to Fiat-Allis (UK) Ltd. This money was put into a Charity Commission Trust Fund. On the closure of the Fiat-Allis company in 1982 the Village Hall was handed back to the village in perpetuity. The Trust Fund is overseen by Trustee Members.
The interest from the Charity Commission is paid into the Village Trust Fund every 3 months. The monies in the Trust Fund are to be used for any projects in the village for which provision is not made out of rates, taxes or any other public funds that will be of benefit to the parishioners.
