Otford Walk

Otford walk

This walk meets every Wednesdays at 10am at the Otford recreational ground  TN14 5PQ

We meet promptly just inside the gate by the covered seating area on the left, next to the children’s play area!

You will easily see the walk leaders in their bright pink tabards.

The walk lasts approximately 30 minutes, though the walks can be varied to accommodate all abilities.

There’s plenty of parking at the Otford Village car park

This is a very friendly and welcoming group with a wide variety of walking ability. Our walk starts at the recreation ground, which is flat and has several benches for those who would like to sit and enjoy the lovely views of the beautiful Otford hills and the Darent valley. Some of our walkers carry along the bridle way and across the field alongside the river and back to the recreation ground via the allotments.

Our wellbeing walks are all led by qualified and dedicated volunteers who will support and encourage you all the way.  Whether you're recovering from an illness or operation, trying to lose weight or would just enjoy a friendly, gentle walk, please come and join us.

You do not need to book, simply come along before the walk begins and look out for our walk leaders in their bright Every Step Counts tabards!

This was the first of our ESC walks which is around the pretty village of Otford set in some beautiful Kent countryside.

We like to have a chat after the walk, hope to see you soon.
