Interested in playing Table Tennis ?
Farnsfield Parish Council

I'd like to introduce you to Farnsfield Table Tennis Club - a club for players of all levels, ages and abilities. Our venue is Farnsfield's Lower Village Hall and we meet to play on Tuesday afternoons 1-3pm and Wednesday evenings 7-9pm. On Wednesdays the first hour is prioritised for Juniors (under 16s), but it's not exclusively for juniors, they get to play the more experienced grown-ups too. We have 3 tables and plenty of seating. Bats and balls that can be borrowed and we can use the kitchen for tea, coffee, squash & biscuits.
We're a pretty relaxed bunch and we'd be really pleased to welcome you along. According to Table Tennis England playing the game will benefit hand-eye coordination, improve reflexes, it's easy on the joints, it burns calories, it's a social sport, it keeps your brain sharp, it improves balance and table tennis is even used as part of treatment for dementia.
So if you're looking for some gentle exercise (or even if you're looking for a bit of a workout with some of our more competitive players) then come along and discover the joys of ping-pong!
I nearly forgot to mention that the tables are mobility friendly, so if you've been inspired by the Tokyo Paralympic games then you can come along and try your hand!
If you'd like further information then pop along or email play.fttc@outlook.com or take a look at our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/FarnsfieldTTC/
