Gladman Proposal Refused

The Gladman proposal to develop 130 new dwellings on the Saddington Road opposite the Persimmon Homes development was heard last night by the Harborough District Council Planning Committee.

The Parish Council became away of this extremely late in the day, however we were able to make representation, Cllr. Jason Gilbert and Cllr Tina McDonagh both spoke against the proposal along with Residents and Councillors from Saddington Parish.

Although it was very apparent that the HDC planners wanted and expected this to go through it was voted by the committee 9 to 1 against.
