New Vehicle Activated Speed Sign on Saddington Road, Fleckney

A new permanent vehicle activated speed sign has been installed on Saddington Road, Fleckney funded by a grant from the County Council following concerns raised by local residents about the speed of traffic in this part of the village. The installation of the sign will help enforce the 30mph speed limit, refocus driver attention by means of an instant visual feedback, respond to the concerns of local residents as well as collecting statistics that will enable its effectiveness to be monitored and help with the justification for the implementation of additional road improvements or safety measures.
