Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport (LRS) is the County Sport Partnership (CSP) for Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland. Our focus is to ensure that national sport and physical activity resources have local reach.
County Sports Partnerships (CSPs) like LRS have been set up by Sport England as the delivery system for the development of sport and physical activity at a county level, working across the sporting landscape, actively supporting partners to increase participation in sport and physical activity.
Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport (LRS) is your local network and support team for sport and physical activity in your area; our role is to deliver national policy in local ways.
Whether you are a sports club/organisation, school, coach, volunteer, athlete or just interested in getting involved in sport and physical activity, we can provide you with the support, advice, expertise and information you need.

The Leicester-Shire & Rutland Inclusive Sports Association (LARISA) is the support structure for disability sport and physical activity throughout Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland, offering:
- information and support
- specialist coaches
- Support for club development
- Professional support and development
- Funding opportunities
There are also gifted and talented programmes, competitive opportunities and extensive leadership programmes.
LARISA is a constituted association representing the interests of disabled people and organisations involved in the delivery of physical education and physical activity and sport to disabled people and students with special educational needs.
The aim of LARISA is to: "Improve the lives of disabled people through physical education, activity and sport".
Active Together is a Leicestershire-wide initiative to provide children and adults with more opportunities to get active and improve their health and well-being.
Harborough's Active Together team are working hard to increase and develop new and existing physical activity initiatives across the district.
From dodgeball to dancing, walking to jogging there is sure to be an affordable and fun activity on offer to suit you.
