The Community Store, Fleet is a community volunteer project supported by several local Lions Club together with councils, housing associations and the like.
For full details of what we do and how we can help you please go to our independent web site here.
Our mission is to recycle redundant household goods, appliances, clothing etc to benefit genuinely needy people in the area we serve and thereby reduce unnecessary waste to the advantage of the environment. At the same time we provide valuable work experience and skills development for many or our volunteer helpers. All the people we help are referred to us by their Case Workers from supporting organisation and are in genuine need. Every month we receive over 300 requests for household items, bedding and clothing, which are generously donated by members of our community.
Visitors and opening hours:
The Store is open Tue, Wed, Thu 10:15am - 3:30pm, Fri 10:30am - 2:00pm
For other safety reasons, we are now forced to discourage casual visits to our busy compound. If you have something to donate please first contact us by telephone or use the email form below to make an arrangement. We very much regret any inconvenience this causes. Our telephone is always busy, so please be patient and call again.
Need our help?
If you need our help you must first get your Case Worker to contact us to make arrangements. For security and safety reasons we are now unable to meet requests from casual visitors to our premises or allow collections that are not prearranged.
