In concert 

Clarinetist and saxophone player Chris Gradwell is an associate of the Royal Academy of Music and has freelanced with all the London orchestras, especially the London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and National Philharmonic Orchestra.  He also founded and played with the London Saxophone Quartet, the Citron Trio and has had his own Big Band - The Little Big Band. Over the years he has had a diverse range of engagements, with many Wigmore Hall and Purcell Room recitals, recording with many of the well known film composers such as Henry Mancini and Gerry Goldsmith, records with Kiri Te Kanawa, John Williams, Joan Sutherland, Pink Floyd and Genesis for Dee Palmer. He taught Clarinet and Saxophone at Trinity College of Music in London for fifteen years.   Since moving to Devon five years ago, Gradwell plays with Serenoa String Quartet, The Beare Trio, Le Jazz, The Little Big Band and A.Js Big Band.

Andrew Daldorph graduated with a first class honours degree in music from the University of Southampton in 1993. He then took up the post of Organ Scholar at Guildford Cathedral under Andrew Millington and subsequently gained Fellowship of the Royal College of Organists.  He frequently gives recitals and has played for services and concerts in cathedrals and concert halls throughout the country.  He is the conductor of both the Exeter Chamber Choir and the East Devon Choral Society. Notable performances have included Bach’s B Minor Mass in Exeter Cathedral with Devon Baroque orchestra, Mozart’s Requiem, Bach’s Magnificat, Brahms’ Requiem and Orff’s Carmina Burana.   His new work – Songs of Hope and Creation - is a modern oratorio and had its première in the spring 2008 and was performed in Exeter Cathedral in October 2009 receiving a standing ovation and much critical acclaim.  Andrew teaches piano & organ. To relax, he enjoys playing jazz piano with his trio.
