Covid-19 Virus announcement

Dear Friends,

It is with regret and sadness that I have to inform you, that, given the current health crisis and following Government advice and in consultation with your Committee, there will be no concerts, nor an AGM, at the Sidholme Music Room until further notice. How long this situation will last is unclear at present.

Thank you for the support that you have given to the Restoration Project. Without the former, what has been achieved would not have happened.

I will be contacting the performers affected and of course, David Wilkinson; for without any income the two chandeliers which are currently at his workshop will simply be stored until a new income stream commences. When that will be, is not known at the moment. I am however, pleased to report that we have been able to finalize the account for the chandelier above the platform.

Our thanks are expressed to Christian Guild and the Sidholme staff who have given invaluable support over the last few years.

I sincerely hope that it will not be too long before we can re-establish the relationship.

In the meantime we wish you well and look forward to meeting you again at some point.
