Last full month of the season and fixtures coming thick and fast.

The Skegness visit went well and we look forward to the return visit next year .

Concerns over the green closure may fade if the weather continues changeable but the possibility remains as the council intends to carry out works starting in September..No details yet.

The league form has definately picked up with good wins over Hucknall TP and Twice beating Porchester recently.

We now have the Friendly matches against Heanor this week and Wymswold on the 26th August .We still need players for both so please rally round.

We are without players through illness and we all send them our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Once again attracting new players is a concern . The recent very hot weather has limited the number of new faces at Coronation park to a brave few..Looking forward the club committee would welcome any suggestions on a stratergy for recruitment . Without new players the possibility of reducing our future commitments is very real . Remember you only need a few each year to survive .

Any concerns or suggestions you may have about any aspect of the club please submit in writing to the secretary for discussed at our AGM.

Lets enjoy whats left of the season and finish on a high.
