On Saturday September 26th Great Coxwell WI is looking to organise a Bat Talk and Walk through the village to discover more about these amazing, nocturnal creatures in our neighbourhood. Meeting at the Tithe Barn at 6.30pm for an introductory talk with the Oxfordshire Bat Group, and to meet some of their rescued bats. Followed by a short walk through the village to the church with some bat detectors to monitor the activity of our local population at dusk. Duration circa 1.5 hrs. Price £7 adult/£5 under 16s to include refreshments. Max 25 participants - pre-booking essential. Weather conditions permitting. .
