We are delighted to confirm that Hampshire County Council have arranged for the repair of the Coronation Parade parking bay this weekend. This marks the end of a long campaign by residents, shop owners in the Parade, the Parish Council and Eastleigh Borough Council to get the parking area resurfaced. The works are currently programmed as follows;

  • Phase 1 - Defective kerb replacement – starting 12 October 2021 and expected to last for up to 2 nights.
  • Phase 2 - Carriageway Resurfacing – starting 20 October 2021 and expected to last for up to 2 nights.

In order to undertake each phase of the works safely, the road will be closed to vehicular traffic between 20:00 and 06:00hrs each night. The road will be open during the day. For more information visit OneNetwork - https://one.network/?tm=GB123227023

If you need to visit the shops during this time please think about leaving the car at home and going on foot to avoid further parking pressures in the area.

We have attached further details provided by Hampshire Highways.
