Dai Davies - I am a retired surgeon living in Hankerton for the last seven years with my partner, Cathy. I have a small flock of Black Welsh Mountain sheep (70-100) controlled by a well trained Border Collie called IDRIS. I am an active ‘wind and shine’ supporter of Bristol Bears and Wales rugby teams. As a member of the PC my main aim is to improve the roads in the village.
Jacqui Erskine-Crum - Jacqui has lived in Hankerton since 1987, she is married and brought up three children here. She works as a counsellor for young people and adults and has been involved with Cotswold Counselling in Cirencester for 15 years, this is a charity providing counselling and mental health support to the surrounding communities. She is a keen walker with her two border terriers and knows and loves the local landscape.
Denis DeSouza - I have been retired from work in Education services for 8 years. Sue and I moved to Hankerton recently and are delighted with our new home and location. My interests include fly fishing, gardening, walking and watching sports. I am pleased to join the Parish Council and hope that I can make a contribution through it and in other ways.
Malcolm Gerald - I’m Malcolm Gerald, a retired GP from over the border in Tetbury. I have lived with my wife Sarah in Hankerton for 33 years now! We brought up our two boys here and now have 4 gorgeous little grand daughters. My interests are tennis, golf, sailing and (yes) playing the ukulele! Now I have more time on my hands I would like to support the village in some way.
Richard Barrow - Klaudia and I live at the far eastern end of the parish with our 3 children where we farm. I am an auctioneer as well taking up the majority of my time. I enjoy being outdoors in our small rural community.
Kate Nurden - My husband Matt and I have our own heating and plumbing company and moved to Hankerton in 2021. I like to help out and get involved with the community and people in need. I love being in the garden and in the countryside.
Jonathan Allmark (photo to follow) - I'm Jonathan and I work in Finance. I have recently moved to Hankerton with my partner Suzie and our two young children, Ophelia and Arthur. We moved in when Arthur was just 3 days old! We love the outdoors and are all excited to explore more of the beautiful countryside around us. I hope to make a valuable contribution to the community through being part of the Parish Council and look forward to getting to know everyone.
