A local Ore resident Mrs Green asked the "Shed" if we could repair a sentimental family heirloom which set Duncan (a member) quite a task! when the table came in it was in a state .The legs were loose and broken, and there were no cross struts only stiff wire holding them apart, holes in the top and just held together with an old hard filler similar to Tetrion! ... Duncan a "whizz" with wood repaired the legs, fashioned new leg struts and dowelled and glued them in position.... I then took over with wood dye and filler to match existing colours and gave the table a generous amount of coloured antique wax to fininish off.... As it was raining the day I delivered it back to Mrs Green I wrapped the table up in cloth and polythene so the raindrops wouln't spoil the wax surface and whilst unwrapping Mrs Green said excitedly,"OOH this is just like The Repair Shop that's on the television.... Bless Her!
