2024 AGM

At the 2024 AGM, retiring Chairman Dave Harwood thanked all members for their contributions to the club. In turn, the meeting gave a sincere vote of thanks and appreciation to Dave, stepping down as Chairman after an exceptional five years' service.

Also standing down on the evening were Brian Harker as President after two wonderful years, and Jackie Wilson after her successful year as Ladies' and Club Captain. Jackie thanked everyone for their support, especially those who signed up to play, as this enabled the club to field teams for all but 2 of its matches. Jackie gave special thanks to Karen Kennedy and Anne Harwood for the support they provided during the season.

The 2025 season sees a change in the captaincy role; instead of a Men's and Women's Captain, there will now be a Club Captain and a Vice Captain. Tony Bishop was elected as Club Captain, with Sue Bishop elected to the role of Vice Captain.

Tom Campbell was elected as the club's new Chairman. Other new appointments were Elle Pond Barrett and Ros Pitt, who have agreed to share the Housekeeping Role, with Sue and Mick Wright taking on shared responsibility for media duties.

The appointment of Bobbie Sims as our new Club President was warmly received as she was handed the chain of office by her predecessor.
