    **Important Information**
Please be aware that if required a Bleed Kit has been installed at the entrance to Hockwold Village Hall just underneath the Defibrillator unit.
A person can ‘bleed out’ and die in around 3-5 minutes from massive loss of blood unless someone finds where the bleed is coming from and knows how to stop the bleed… before the ambulance arrives to help.
The length of time for ambulances to arrive at Category 1 calls involving life threatening bleeding is well over 5 minutes.
For example, if there is a continued threat to ambulance crew safety, as seen in recent terrorist attacks and criminal attacks involving weapons, they will not enter a place to treat casualties until the police have told them the area is safe to do so.
People who were badly injured in the terror attacks at Manchester Arena and London Bridge died waiting for emergency ambulance help that never arrived.
The person best placed to save lives after an incident is YOU, the ordinary member of the public....
