Parish Council Meetings
The Parish Council meets on the third Monday of each month at 7.30 p.m. in the Hurstbourne Tarrant Community Centre.
(Please note there is no meeting in August)
The press and public are welcome and actively encouraged to attend.
The Council meets to make decisions on items which have been put forward via the meeting agenda. It cannot make formal decisions ~ or ‘resolutions’ ~ about anything which isn’t on the agenda.
A meeting of the Parish Council is a meeting held in public; it is not a ‘public meeting’. Parishioners are very welcome to comment or make a representation on any issue, and time will be given to this in the Public Participation item at the beginning of the meeting. This is a time slot of 15 minutes maximum, and therefore each person speaking will be limited to 3 minutes unless the Chairman invites further comment. The Chairman can invite someone to address the Council at any time but normally this only takes place during the Public Participation item.
If you would prefer to email the clerk with details of your query, this can be brought up under correspondence if you are unable to attend.
