The Parish Council is aware that the streetlights along Burleydam Road is not currently working and understands the concerns this has caused, particularly with darker mornings and evenings.

Work to resolve the issue has been ongoing, involving coordination between Shropshire Council, E.On, and Scottish Power Networks. The Council has been working to confirm ownership details and ensure all technical information and locations are correctly recorded.

Ightfield Parish Council are now finalising an updated inventory of the lights, which will be submitted to Scottish Power Networks to enable the necessary repairs to be arranged.
