Covid-19 Help and Advice
Stay at home to stop coronavirus spreading - here is what you can and can't do. If you think you have the virus, don't go to the GP or hospital, stay indoors and get advice online. Only call NHS 111 if you cannot cope with your symptoms at home; your condition gets worse; or your symptoms do not get better after seven days.
Ivinghoe Lawn and Ivinghoe Aston Playground
Following the government guidelines which come into effect on Wednesday 17th May 2021.
People will be able to use The Lawn and Ivinghoe Aston Playground for
- Picnics (only in groups of 6 from different households or 2 seperate households only)
- Sunbathing (only in groups as above)
- Playing of games, including basketball and table tennis (only within groups as above)
- Organised sports or external gyms (including the external gym equipment).
- Playground equipment will be open subject to the adherence to the groups above
In all cases social distancing must be observed.
People will NOT be able to
- Use any form of barbecue
Please note, you may also find that some people from outside of the villages will be using the facilities.
You are free to enjoy both Ivinghoe Lawn and Ivinghoe Aston Playground, but please follow these simple guidelines. Stay Safe everyone.

Ivinghoe Parish Council is working in conjunction with Buckinghamshire Council's Hub in Aylesbury to provide support to the elderly and vulnarable

- Church Food Bank
Would you like to donate food?
St Mary's Church in Ivinghoe has limited opening or you can leave donations in the porch. Any packets, tins or dry goods welcome especially longlife milk and tinned cooked meat or pies.
Do you know of anyone who is in need of foodor are you short of food yourselfor need someone to shop for you?

- Advice on elderly or potentially vulnerable residents and Coronavirus
In the case of potentially vulnerable residents, If they have not already received a letter from the government highlighting them as vulnerable, the link for people to register with the government as vulnerable and needing help is www.gov.uk/coronavirus-extremely-vulnerable and there is also a helpline on 0800 0288327.
If you hear of any local people who are likely to qualify but haven’t received the letter, please do ask them to register above and raise this with their GPs or hospital clinicians (as per the government guidance above).
If residents have received the letter from the government advising they are one of the vulnerable members of society an should isolate for 12 weeks they will be getting a food parcel delivered in the next few days.
