Footpath Closure and Street Works
Ivinghoe Parish Council
Roadworks and Closures – Ivinghoe Parish
Affects – Ivinghoe and Ivinghoe Aston
From Monday 4th February for a total of 6 weeks
We have been advised by Croudace that Pitstone Footpath No2 which runs up the Pitstone side of Brookmead School will be closed for the duration for re-surfacing. This, in turn, means that Ivinghoe Footpath No 4A that runs from Station Road/Maud Janes Close behind the school to the footbridge across the stream will become a dead end and effectively closed. Residents wishing to make use of Ivinghoe Footpath No 4A should take an alternative route to the school and then follow the diversion for the Pitstone closure if required.
Commencing Monday 4th February for approximately 1 week
Street light survey in Ivinghoe, Ivinghoe Aston, Ford End and Great Gap. Please note that ETL Ltd, working on behalf of Ivinghoe Parish Council, will be conducting a survey (including physical and electrical testing) of all of the streetlights that belong to IPC. Their vehicles will be marked with ‘Highways Maintenance’, the inspectors will be wearing the standard Hi-Vis and will have ID cards – they are very approachable if you have any questions. Basically, you will see them about anywhere in Ivinghoe, Ivinghoe Aston, Ford End and Great Gap wherever there is a street light.
