Yet another set of roadworks are to be completed on High Street, Ivinghoe, in very close proximity to Brookmead School. We believe this is gas supply work to a property in High Street.

The works will take place between Friday 10th November until Friday 17th November inc.

We have been advised that the roadworks will be controlled by traffic lights.

IPC have attempted to get these works moved to the school holidays, but Bucks CC have refused to move them.

  • The works will be from 09:30 – 3:30 on each day
  • The traffic lights are likely to be there for 24hrs per day.
  • The works will effect where the Marsworth bus will drop off and pick up
  • Parking will be severely restricted especially on the Ivinghoe side of the works.
  • The last time there was works in exactly the same position there were long queues of traffic on both sides, so if possible please use alternative routes.
  • The queueing traffic will severely hamper the ‘drop off zone’ at school so therefore allow more time.

Any further updates will appear here.
