Allotments

The Laceby Allotments were opened by Laceby Village Council in 2008, after the local farmer agreed to rent the Council land, and additional funding was secured from the Wolds Ward Councillors. This enabled the Village Council to place a gate, provide land drainage, and install water to the site.

The Allotment Association was formed to provide a community spirit at the Allotments, and through the committee’s dedication and fundraising, a boundary fence, toilets, storage, and some equipment is now available to plot holders to use.

With varying plot sizes, from smaller plots to the larger plots, each plot is unique and has its own character.

All our plots are priced at £52 per year (April to March), and all plot holders must have the Allotment Association group buy liability insurance.

We do currently have a waiting list place for anyone looking to rent an allotment plot.

Please contact the Clerk for further details.
