The Club's third indoor match in the Palmerston Cup this season, was played on Sunday 27th November, against Eastleigh Railway, who, as anticipated, proved to be a very strong team, winning on all three rinks, and overall by 71 shots to 36. Nevertheless, having now played 3 of our four games in the mini-league, we are lying second to Eastleigh Railway, and now only have Lockswood A to play, on 18th December, to complete the mini-league stage of the competition. The match against Lockswood A could be crucial in deciding whether Lee-on-the-Solent qualify automatically for the first knockout round of the competition.

The individual rink scores against Eastleigh Railway were:-

Dave Heather, and Rob & Joan Dawkins 14 - 23;
Brian Underwood, Jeff Passmore and Brian Knight 7 - 30; and
Peter Gentry, Maurice Phillips and Sheila Gentry 15 - 18.
