Welcome to the Lincoln Railway Society

The Lincoln Railway Society was formed in 1979 with the objectives of holding regular monthly meetings, visiting places of railway interest, travelling by rail whenever possible and generally encouraging  members to enjoy all aspects of railway operation and preservation.

We have a varied programme of monthly meetings with presentations by some of the best railway speakers, historians and photographers in the country, covering not only UK  railways, but overseas as well.

The meetings are held on the second Monday of each month, commencing at 7.30pm, in St Hugh's Church, Harewood Crescent, North Hykeham, Lincoln, LN6 8JB. The meetings last about two hours, with a break halfway through, when refreshments are available.

Admission is -

Members - £2

Non Members - £3
