Some notable results of the last few days. A busy week.

On Wednesday we reached the Semi Final of the County Knockout Cup for the first time in twenty years with a resounding 35 shot win over Kempston Hammers. We now have to play Sandy Town on Sunday 14th August.

We were knocked out of the Pell Shield on Sunday morning by Dunstable Town (5 shots).

Mike Dalton won his round of County Singles and will now play the 2021 Champion, Chris Beard of Sharnbrook, on Thursday at Linslade.

Marco and Grant won in County Pairs and will now play at home to Matt Bonsey of Luton Town while Mike Dalton and Martin Bennett will be heading for Houghton Regis to play Neville Burgess. (Both play on Tuesday evening).

Unfortunately Mark Holland and Steve Carthy were beaten by an experienced Ampthill pair.

Mike Dalton, Peter Lee and Martin Bennett have reached the Quarter Final of the Crawley Triples, they will be playing away to opponents who have yet to be decided.

Rhys and Peter Lee have reached the Area Finals the National Family Triples. They will be playing on a neutral green against opponents yet to be decided.

Debbie Richardson plays June Bigley of Henlow Park in the semi final of the County Champion of Champions. This game will be played at Flitwick on Wednesday evening at 6:00pm. I am sure that Debbie will be delighted to have some support.

This evening (Monday) we have two squads playing home in the Men’s Monday Night Triples.

Thursday sees our regular Club session. All our new bowlers are doing really well and soon will be challenging for places in the teams. By the way many thanks to Martin and Andrew for the work that they did in providing the barbecue last week.

Friday will see the Friday Night Triples back in action.
