Race Report 2024 

Thank you to all the runners that braved our wet and windy 4th LABC Runners 5k race. It was great to see so many old and new faces! The weather wasn’t the best we had some good old rain and wind to help us run faster. First male Harry Peacock with a time of 17:36 and first female Isabel Brandon who set a new female course record with a time of 20:13 congratulations to you both. Some amazing runs from everyone including a couple of our couch 2 5k runners who bravely took on the hill that is Smithybridge road and the wind near Hollingworth Lake. Follow the links on this page for race results now available. Thank you to all who volunteered and helped out today you all make this race possible. We hope you all enjoyed the run and will be back in 2025!!!

Age limit. 12 years of age and over.

Route: Due to on going works on paths we are in the process of slightly altering the route and getting this accurately measured. This will be completed well before the race and updated on this page.

Facilities: Bags can be left at your own risk LABC will not take responsibility for any missing items so please keep valuables at home or locked in your car. Toilet facilities are available.

Refreshments: Refreshments will be available at the club house, hot and cold drinks, bacon sandwiches and a selection of snacks. 

Parking: Please car share, if possible, Club parking is limited, but street parking is available around Littleborough centre, the roads around Littleborough are usually quiet on a Sunday morning. Please be mindful of local residents when parking.
