Southampton & District Women's Bowling Association 2017 Entrants

Lockswood have representation in most of the S&D Competitions this year.

Jan Collins will compete in the Champion of Champions.

Maxeen Fletcher  in the William Day 4 Wood Singles Competition

Ann Wilkinson & Vi Oliver in the Championship Pairs

Carol Windust and Jan Collins in the William Day pairs and also Sheena Mack & Maxeen Fletcher

Two teams have entered the Ciss Dyer 2 Wood Triples One Day Competition, Carol Windust, Jan Collins & Judy Eynon, and Vi Oliver, Ann Wilkinson & Dilys Lillywhite.

Vi Oliver, Ann Wilkinson and Dilys Lillywhite represent Lockswood in the 3 Wood Triples

Whilst, Carol Windust, Maxeen Fletcher, Christine Prince & Gill Legge

and

Vi Oliver, Ann Wilkinson, Dilys Lillywhite & Joy Geary, compete in the Rinks Competitions.

 

End Of Season Update

Jan Collins lost in the Quarter Final of The Champion of Champions Competition, beaten by Chris Robinson of Men Valley.

Maxine Fletcher also reached the Quarter Final of the William Day 4 Wood Singles, before being defeated by Jean Gould from Men Valley.

Ann Wilkinson and Vi Oliver made it through to the Final of the Championship Pairs, but were runners up after losing to Margaret Darkin and partner from Atherley.

Sheena Mack and Maxeen Fletcher went out of the William Day Pairs in the first round, but Jan Collins and Carol Windust were defeated in the Quarter Finals, losing to Losing to Lyn Booth from Mayfield Park.

The Ciss Dyer, one day event was cancelled due to bad weather and not reinstated.

Our Triples team went out in the preliminary round to a Mayfield Park trio.

Finally in the rinks, Vi Oliver's team lost in the first round and Carol Windust's team were defeated by Atherley in the Quarter Final.
