Loddon Vale Indoor Bowls Club

Wessex league

The Wessex League is a men's league played between clubs over a wide area of the country. Loddon Vale play in the East Region Division of the league. There are ten clubs in the East Region. The winners and runners up (and sometimes the third place finishers) proceed to the final inter-divisional playoff stages.

Each club plays the other clubs in their division once - hence Loddon Vale plays nine games in the division.

The format is four rinks, two at home and two away playing simultaneously on Sunday mornings. 2 points (1 each for a tie) are earned by each winning rink and 8 points  (4 each for a tie) are earned by the team winning the overall aggregate score for the four rinks - hence 16 points are available for each match.

Loddon Vale won East Division sweepiong all nine matches- Draw for playoffs awaited.
