Overview of what is available:

The Longstock Village Hall is a well-maintained multi-purpose hall with full access for disabled people which complies with all current legislation.  It is available for regular hiring or one-off use. It comprises a large hall and a smaller conference room which can be hired individually or both together.

The main hall is 17m by 9m by 5.6m high with a hard sports floor and an access hatch to the kitchen.  There are microphones with a hearing loop and stereo speakers, screens for showing films, slides etc, stacking plastic chairs for about 90, thirteen folding 6’ tables, one small table and a projector stand.  A stacking stage is also available.

The conference room with carpeted floor, 9.3m by 4m, fits three tables 6’ long and has 20 chairs

The kitchen is large enough for catering a meal for up to 100 people, with range oven, dishwasher, plumbed urn, small fridge and microwave. There is cutlery and crockery including serving plates, jugs, tumblers and wine glasses, mugs, cups and saucers for about 100. For larger meals there is also a hot cupboard on wheels, a trolley and a second small fridge on wheels. Everything is provided for washing and drying up.

The Hall holds a liquor licence and a music/entertainment licence, which states that there must be no noise heard outside the building and that hirings must stop at 23:30.

There is free parking for about 40 cars and ramps at every outside door.

Sports available:

The main hall has a sports floor with a marked badminton court, and hire charge for sport includes use of the net. There is also a carpet bowls set and a table tennis table with net, bats and balls.

Hourly Rates: 

Whole hall for exclusive use £30; Main Hall £25; Conference Room £15; Sports £15; Weddings 72 hours £600.   Residents of Longstock get discounted rates.
