Mabe Parish Council

Mabe Parish Council serves an area which extends to take in the University site at Tremough (in the north east corner) to Halvasso (west) and includes Argal and College reservoirs.  Sitting right in the middle of the parish is the village of Mabe Burnthouse.

Our parish council is currently made up of 10 councillors who come from a diverse cross-section of our community.  Each councillor has taken responsibility for a different area of concern - we have transport, climate, business, housing, planning & finance along with links into other community groups and projects.  If you ever have a aparish issue that you want to raise feel free to contact them or the parish clerk - it's what we are here for.

The Parish Council meets monthly in the WI Memorial Hall on Antron Hill (ordinarily at 7.00pm on the second Thursday of the month). Every meeting includes an opportunity for members of the public to ‘have their say’ and address parish council members on issues of concern.

You will find copies of meeting agendas and minutes on this website.  In addition, copies are posted on the notice board in the centre of the village.

Members' contact details are listed under the Councillors and Staff section of this website.  Similarly, you can email the clerk through the Contact Us section of this site.
