2021 Ladies' Invited Competition Final

And the last match of 2021 was played out this week, congratulations to Joan and Arthur for winning the match.

Men's Championship

Pete Curnock's good form continues, he beat Malc Curtis. Well done, Pete. Other results include Andy beating Brad, Paul winning against Alan, and Roger beating Mark.

Paul and Andy had a long match of 27 ends and 2 1/2 hours, but Paul prevailed to win 21-19 and he will have his first Championship final match.

Roger won against Pete after another long game, 26 ends in totl.

So the first final is set, Roger versus Paul on Sunday 18th September. At least it will be warmer than last year's final match!

Men's Handicap

Roger won 21-19 against Paul after a long match of 26 ends. Well done to Roger.

Malc won his quarter-final against Brad and progresses to play Andy in the semi-final.
Pairs

Malc and Joan won against Roger and Pete, as did Brad and Bryan against Andy and Steve.

Malc and Joan beat Alan and Mark, to move into the final.

The remaining quarter-final match is Tim and Anne versus Derek and Tina. The winners will play Brad and Bryan in the semi-final.

Senior Shield

Roger won against David and progresses to the semi-final. he waits for the winner of Brad v Malc.

The winner of Tim v Derek will play Paul in the semi-final.

Two Wood

The semifinal match to be played is Mark v Pete.

The quarter-final match left to play is Bryan v Brad, and the winner will play Andy in the second semi-final.

Novice

Due to a mix-up, Brad has had to withdraw from the Novice as he won the Men's Handicap last year. Margaret is due to play Pete in the semi-final.

Anne has to play Bryan in the quarter-final and the winner will play Paul.
