The Club Pairs Final for 2021 was played last night, Wednesday 4th, August 2022. Tim and Alan beat Marlene and Joan 20-18 on the extra end.
Alan and Tim went 18-10 up after securing a six on the 14th end but the ladies came back to draw level on the 18th end. The ladies were holding the winning shot on the extra end until Tim’s last wood came into the head and removed it. Great match for all those playing.
Joan was the star of the match as she had a covering over one eye and played very well.
This leaves one 2021 competition remaining to be played, the Ladies Invited.
