The Ladies' team in the Stroud Valleys' Triples League had a narrow defeat to Cirencester by 32-34 shots and 2-6 points on Monday 25th July.

There were three singles in the National Championships. Tim had a slow start but managed to come back to win 21-19 against B. Wicks from Calne. Alan lost 10-21 to P Mackie from Calne. Paul had a marathon match against P Beazer from Chippenham Town that lasted nearly three hours, eventually losing 19-21.

Good luck to Tim in the next round on Friday 29th July when he plays S. Heseltine away in Chippenham Town.

On Sunday 24th July, Malmesbury played a friendly match away at Burford. Everyone enjoyed the visit.

Meanwhile, at home, Roy, Tim, and Brian won their match in the County Over 60s Triples winning 23-10 against Marlborough. Their next game is a long journey to Salisbury. Gary won his National Two Woods match and moves into the last 16 with a finals day on Saturday 6th August at Devizes.

Good luck to Roy, Tim, and Brian, and to Gary in the next round.
