The Malmesbury B traveled to Chippenham Park to play in the National Two Fours competition on Sunday 15th May. They lost by 37-22 shots. Albert's rink drew however John's rink lost.

On Monday 16th May, John led a rink playing in the National Fours at Chippenham Town and lost 20-8.

There was an epic game at home on Sunday 15th May that ended in a thrilling finish. Roy's and Alan's rinks were neck and neck throughout the game, 8-8 after 8 ends and 13-13 after 16 ends. Roy's rink took 3 shots on the 17th end but Alan's rink came back to equalize on the last end with 3 shots

An extra end was needed to decide the result. Bryan put one on the jack and despite attempts to dislodge it, the wood stayed there. Alan's rink won by one shot, 18-17 overall. Well done to Mark and Bryan in their first National competition.

Alan's rink is at home on Friday 20th May at 18:30 in the next round of the National Fours. The rink will play Calne.

Alan has a County Champions of Champions match on Thursday 19th May at home, against Holt.

Paul has a Senior Singles (over 55) match on Monday 23rd May in the afternoon, at home, against Chippenham Town.

There is a County Triples (Over 60) match on Thursday 26th May at home for Alan, Paul, and Mal. They play Amesbury.

Malmesbury A plays in the National Two Fours competition on Sunday 12th June at Calne.

Finally, on Monday 13th June, there are three matches scheduled in the National Triples in the evening

  • Brian against Marlborough
  • John against Calne
  • Paul against Chippenham Town

There are limited car parking spaces at the club. If possible, please park in Cross Hayes. It is a short walk from Cross Hayes, down Silver Street, to the club house.
