In House Games
With the huge rise in Covid cases, it seems wise to postpone our plans for a game on 27 December 2021. As and when we have some better news we will re-schedule.
National and County Competitions
Club members who wish to be involved in the competitions shown need to submit entries early in the New Year. The ladies' Coronation Triples competition entry has already been sorted so all of the following are competitions related to men.
Roy Wilcox will be co-ordinating the entry process so names must be submitted to him by 25 January 2022 latest, please.

Tour 2022
Reluctantly this tour will have to be postponed until 2023. Once again the news seems bleak regarding travel to other countries. Who knows what the situation will be like at the end of the summer? It is not surprising that members are cautious about committing funds that may not be seen again. Derek is considering a UK-based trip for 2022 so watch this space.
Skittles and the Bar
Thanks to a small group of dedicated members it has been possible to staff the bar through the first nine weeks of the skittles season. If allowed, the skittles matches will run for a further 13 weeks from 3 January 2022 so the club will be open on most weekday evenings to support this. Clearly, we would have liked to open the club (and the bar) for more hours than has been possible but this depends on volunteers. So if you are able to commit some time then please offer to join the rota. Stocking the bar has been difficult but the process has been kept under regular review. Once the present challenges ease then it may be possible to return to something like normal service.
Other News
We will watch with interest how Bradford on Avon bowls club handles their commitment to croquet this coming season!

A reminder that these will be due on 1 January 2022.

There are limited car parking spaces at the club. If possible, please park in Cross Hayes. It is a short walk from Cross Hayes, down Silver Street, to the club house.
