Friday 27 May

Malmesbury traveled to Chippenham Town on a lovely sunny day. Two of the teams won their games and two lost, overall Malmesbury managed to win the match by having scored more shots, so took the points available by 10-4. A good away win on grass. Well done to Albert and Bob as winning skips.

Thursday 26 May

Mal, Alan, and Paul played in the County Over 60s Triples against Amesbury on a very windy evening. Thankfully, it did not rain to make it even worse. Malmesbury started well but Amesbury got the hang of the artificial surface and pulled ahead, so much so, that they were 18-12 up after 16 ends. Malmesbury managed to win the next two ends to level the score at 18-18 so an extra end had to be played. Malmesbury won that by one shot, so 19-18 overall. Malmesbury plays Devizes in the next round at home in June.
