After the first half, Malmesbury were losing on all four rinks in the Friday T&B game. The green was heavy after the downpours of Thursday, however it became faster as the afternoon progressed. There was a drop of rain at the start to cause concern for a few seconds. By the end of the game, it was very warm.

In the second half, the Malmesbury rinks improved their performances to win the game by 64 shots to 52, picking up 11 points to 3 against Chippenham Town.

The individual rink scores were as follows (Malmesbury first), 19-11, 16-11, 17-17 and 12-13. Well done to all rinks for the turnaround.
