After an enforced break, the Triples Tournament returned on Thursday 15 July.

Mark Cavendish is the record holder for most stage wins in the Tour de France, together with Eddie Merckx. This has given Roy Wilcox the idea of having the most "wrong bias" shots in a season.

Next season, the club will inaugurate the "Roy Wilcox Cup" for most wrong biases.

Thursday night is very important as it gives everyone the opportunity to play and to learn from each other. Bowls is an inclusive game that can be played by people of shapes and sizes, and of all ages. As the club emerges from COVID restrictions, the club will seek to expand the opportunities for everyone to play more often and to grow the membership of the club.

Now the commercial is over, the scores on the doors were:

  • Arthur - Roy -- 3-10, 7-0, 6-6 -- overall 4-4 in points and 16-16 in shots
  • Malc - Bob -- 10-3, 6-9, 5-3 -- overall 6-2 in points and 21-15 in shots
  • Derek - Albert -- 2-5, 4-7, 10-4 -- overall 3-5 in points and 16-16 in shots
  • Roger - Tim -- 3-4, 3-8, 11-14 -- overall 0-8 in points and 17-26 in shots
