Saturday 31 July saw the visit from Rodbourne Cheney from Swindon. The friendly game was played in a convivial atmosphere. As always the visitors take a while to adjust to the 'Malmesbury Mat' but they all enjoyed the experience. It was good to see Margaret Brady, a new member, out on the green, and to see Ruby Robins playing a friendly. Well done to both of you.

Thanks to Joan Long as captain for the day and to John Smith for being a star and operating the bar.

The scores on the doors were :

Malmesbury - Rodbourne Cheney 83-56

  • 15-13
  • 25-17
  • 21-16
  • 22-10
