On Friday 2nd July, 17 staff members of The Market Bosworth School came along for a fun evening at the Club as an end of term social get together. This was the second time the staff enjoyed such a visit with the previous one being in 2019, prior to the Covid restrictions. Club coach Richard Newby organised the visit again and thanks go to him from both staff and the club for making the evening such a fantastic success.

With the bar open and everyone being in 'end of term' mode it was brilliant to hear laughter and see the fun being enjoyed by all. There were some impressive (and not so impressive) first attempts at Lawn bowls and after a short introduction plus a few ends of regular bowls, Richards' famous fun games brought out the competative nature of the teachers to produce a well deserved winner. After a Fish and Chip supper the 'Report' frrom the Teachers was that they will certainly come again, so save the date in 2022 for another great evening.
