Mawnan Village information
The Parish of Mawnan includes the Village of Mawnan Smith and the hamlets of Penwarne, Helford Passage, Carlidnack, Bareppa and Durgan. The village of Mawnan Smith is just over 2km from the Coastal Footpath. The Village boasts a selection of shops - a garage (no fuel), Post Office and Village Store, Electrical store, Hair salon, Cornish Maid Cafe, Casa Juan Spanish restaruant and The Red Lion Pub. The old Smithy has been transformed into a craft workshop support local craft.

The village has a DEFIBRILLATOR, which is located in the back porch of the RED LION public house.
To access the equipment, you will need to dial 999 to be given the code to open the box.
MAWNAN COMMUNITY RESPONDERS.
The responders are all volunteers from the village, they have been trained by the paramedics of the West Country Ambulance service.
They live and work in the Mawnan community and will give early response in the support of the Ambulance prior to its arrival.
