New Bench for Village Green

Melling Parish Council are pleased to have been able to provide a bench for residents use on our village green.

There has been a lot of positive feedback from residents about the bench which is being well used.

The bench was requested by Melling resident, Joan Prescott, pictured here enjoying a rest on the bench with Melling Parish Council Chairman, Councillor Alan Todd.

Joan attended a Parish Council meeting to ask about the possibility of having a bench and we would encourage any other residents with ideas about how we can make positive improvements to the amenity of our area to please come along to one of our meetings or to contact the clerk with your suggestions by phone 07421 354877 or email to clerk@mellingparishcouncil.uk.
