Oral History Projects

The main aims of the oral history projects are to collect, record and preserve the personal reminiscences of past and present village residents about a particular aspect of village life, and to provide a “living history” of contemporary stories for future generations to access.

So far we have carried out 2 projects. The first was on the Mickleham village shop, "Rose's store". This was complied in 2013 by Mari Ottridge. Our second project was looked at "Feeding the Family" and was compiled in 2016 by Anne Weaver and Roger Davis.
