Happy 110year Anniversary

What a fantastic day. 110 years of being a bowling club is worth celebrating and yes we did it in style. It was so good to see 6 rinks playing, full home team against a mixed Surrey team, some great bowls and much laughter.. A spider for Captain Helen's charity started our afternoon, followed by an 18 end match which was won by the home team by a narrow margin of 2 shots, phew!, it must have been the ice creams mid match that distracted the Surrey team. After our hot afternoon match we all sat down to enjoy some cool drinks and a great meal, home cooked turkey, salad, new potatoes which was followed by celebration cake served with fresh fruit. Thank you to all our visitors for making it a very special day and thank you for the club members, bar, kitchen, green and clearer uppers because without their hardwork these days wouldn't happen.
